The prize incudes:

  • 4 nights Bed and Breakfast
  • 4 evening meals
  • Use of the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym at our hotels (Use of the pool / spa / gym facilities will be dependent on the policy of the hotels relating to Covid-19)
  • Route plans including GPS co-ordinates for key locations
  • Tour co-ordinators - accompanied ride-outs (optional)

The winners must accept the prize by the 31st December 2021. To be able to book your place, you will need to have a full motorcycle licence and a suitable motorcycle.

AIM OF THE DAY - Our aim is to introduce new riders to this exhilarating and challenging sport in a safe environment without the initial expense of buying a bike and safety gear.
 
ABOUT THE DAY - Once signed on, riders will get kitted up in full protective gear (all supplied) before the technical briefing, which will cover the aims of the session and introduce the riders to basic riding techniques:
At all riding locations, a small oval track will be used initially for riders to gain confidence on the bike and to learn key motorcycle skills:

  • smooth throttle control and braking
  • correct cornering and body position
  • starting the bike and using the clutch
  • effective gear changing
Once the rider and the instructor feel confident that the basic skills have been covered the rider will move on to a more challenging course with a variety of turns and obstacles. Instruction is then provided very much on an individual basis with the emphasis on safety and enjoyment.
 
Terms and conditions:

  2. Two winners will be chosen at random from all qualifying entries
  3. The prize is a full day Junior Motocross Experience at MX TryOut at Mildenhall MX centre in Suffolk, valid on any 2021 course subject to availability.
  4. The closing date for entries is midnight on the 29th November 2020. Winners will be contacted by Kawasaki Motors UK by 1st December 2020. The winners must book their place by the 31st December 2021.
  5. Riders must be 7 years old or above and at least 130cm tall. Experience of riding a motorcycle is not necessary, but the ability to ride a bicycle is.
  6. Refreshments are not included and facilities at the track are limited so you will be required to bring food and drink with you
  7. The Kawasaki motorcycle and full safety gear will be provided. You will be required to wear appropriate clothing for the weather conditions and bring thick socks as these will be much more comfortable beneath motocross boots.
  8. It is expected that parents/guardians will attend with junior riders. Any further spectators are welcome.
  9. We can not guarantee perfect weather conditions, however try out days will only be cancelled if continued bad weather makes the riding conditions unsafe
  10. The prize will not be replaced should you choose not to attend on a bad weather day unless your experience has been cancelled by MX Try Out

The prize: A full day at The Kawasaki MX Experience Powered by SevenSeven2 MX.
 
The West Midlands-based SevenSeven2 MX is owned and run by experienced motocross racer and trainer, Craig Chamberlain. Together with his highly-knowledgeable team of coaches, which includes a former MXGP, World Enduro and IMBA European racers, Craig offers riders of all ages and abilities the chance to learn and sharpen their off-road skills in a safe and controlled environment. You can be a total beginner or a seasoned MX racer to take part.
 
The winner will receive a gift voucher for a full MX Experience day, which runs from 9.30am to 4pm. After a short briefing session and a change of kit, they will be taught all the essentials to riding the bike – how to start it, how to accelerate, how to change gear and most importantly, how to stop! Once they are comfortable on the bike, the winner will be able ride around the track on their own, maybe even hitting the jumps! The coaches will be on hand all day to offer advice and encouragement.

The latest and greatest green machines will be available to ride including the Kawasaki KX65, KX85SW, KX85BW, KX250 and KX450. The day has all the ingredients to give the winner an experience they will never forget! The gift voucher can be redeemed on any Kawasaki MX Experience Day courses available in 2021.

The prize: One of five FREE Compulsory Basic Training Courses as a KRTS training school.
 
Terms & Conditions:

  1. This competition is open to all UK residents who are 17 years of age or over at the time of the draw, except employees of Kawasaki Motors and their affiliated companies, their families and agencies.
  2. The prize offered is a one day training course to obtain a CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) certificate. Training must be completed at a KRTS training school, all of which are listed at: www.learntoridewithkawasaki.co.uk.
  3. Five winners will be chosen and random from all qualifying entries. The closing date for entries is midnight on the 29th November 2020. Winners will be contacted by Kawasaki Motors UK by 1st December 2020. The winners must book their CBT by the 31st December 2021. To be able to book your CBT, you will need to have a UK driving licence with provisional motorcycle entitlement.
  4. A suitable motorcycle will be provided to you to allow you to complete your training, however you may be required to provide your own safety clothing due to Covid-secure restrictions.
  5. Only one entry per person will be accepted. The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available.
  6. The prize does not include travel to or from the training school, we will endeavour to put you in touch with the closest school possible to your location, however we cannot guarantee a maximum distance.
  7. By entering, the winner agrees to their names and general locations being shared between Kawasaki Motors UK, their local Kawasaki dealer and KRTS school.
  8. The winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
