24 November 2015 World SBK Champion Gets Closer to new Ninja ZX-10R App

Reigning World Superbike Champion, Jonathan Rea, has become one of the first to get closer to the 2016 Ninja ZX-10R experiencing a brand new free App in the Kawasaki Racing Team pit box that formed part of the Kawasaki booth at the EICMA Motorcycle Show.

Visiting Milan along with team mate, Tom Sykes, the chance to try the Ninja ZX-10R App was seized upon by the 28 year old World Champion who wore a pair of special goggles and headphones to fully experience the App. Developed explicitly for the launch of the 2016 Ninja ZX-10R, the App enables fans to get closer to many aspects of the machine that forms the basis of the Kawasaki factory racing effort in the coming season.

Offering a rich experience of the Ninja ZX-10R and highlighting a 360˚ lap of the Portimao racetrack with Rea, the new App is available in both the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store as a free download.

“When I was helping with the filming in Portugal the App developers told me this would be as close as it gets to being part of the official Kawasaki World Superbike team and I have to say it’s pretty impressive”, commented Rea.

“Tom and I both contributed so there is direct input from two world champions making this a very authentic experience either in 2D on a hand held device or switched to full 3D with easily available virtual reality glasses.”

Also including the 2016 Ninja ZX-10R official action and studio promotional videos, the App has technical specifications of Kawasaki litre class Supersport machine plus a specification page and a gallery of images.
