22 November 2013 WSBK Champion heads stellar cast at Motorcycle Live

Recently crowned Word Superbike Champion, Tom Sykes is set to be part of the opening ceremony for Motorcycle Live on Saturday 21 November after which he will be on the Kawasaki stand to talk to his fans.

The Kawasaki Racing Team rider always looks forward to the premier UK motorcycle show and is set to make two appearances, one on the first Saturday and one on the closing weekend.

Other riders on the opening weekend include pilots for Gearlink Kawasaki in the new season in the form of Ben Wilson and Luke Hedger plus a launch of the GBMoto Superbike team live on the Kawasaki stand in Hall 3.

Midweek highlights include an appearance by Kawasaki world MX1 star, Tommy Searle who will appear on the main stage as part of a presentation covering current and past motocross highlights. Matching this enterprise, the Kawasaki racing display adjacent to the main Kawasaki stand will be celebrating forty years of the KX off road range.

For those venturing to Birmingham’s NEC on the Friday 29 November or the final Saturday of the show there is much to look forward to with Quattro Plant Kawasaki riders in attendance along with World Supersport star, Kenan Sofuoğlu who will be interviewed on the Kawasaki stage.

The last day of the event is dedicated to pure rods racing and, in particular, the Isle of Man TT. Kawasaki competitors appearing on that day number James Hillier, the 2013 IOM Lightweight TT winner plus rising star, Dean Harrison and the most successful sidecar racer ever to compete around the 37 ¾ TT course, Dave Molyneux.

“We are always trying to add extra attractions when we plan the Kawasaki stand”, explains Racing Coordinator for Kawasaki Motors UK, Ross Burridge. “To have a live stage as part of the stand is a great feature and we hope people enjoy seeing the likes of Tom Sykes, Kenan Sofuoğlu and Tommy Searle from the world scene as well as their UK favourites from BSB and pure roads racing”.
