3 November 2016 Team Green to join Arenacross 2017

Kawasaki Team Green will join the Arenacross Tour for 2017 with an official Kawasaki UK presence across almost every class. The team will be run by an in-house crew and owned by the Japanese brand.
British motocross number one and former World number two, Tommy Searle will be spearheading Kawasaki’s AX campaign, paired with Jack Brunell – an AX regular who scored two podiums last year before suffering a broken foot which unfortunately ruled him out of the rest of the Championship.

Team Green’s Pro Lites rider will be Dylan Woodcock, a former Arenacross 85cc SW Champion. Already a full Team Green rider and a podium performer in the AX Championship, Woodcock has spent a lot of time training in America which is sure to make him even more competitive for the 2017 season.

2016 AX Super Mini runner-up, Kacey Hird, will again contest the 85cc category.

The first round of the Arenacross tour kicks off in Manchester on Saturday 7 January, 2017.

\Ross Burridge, Kawasaki UK, said: “Over the last few years, Arenacross has become a more and more important series for us and we’re keen to ensure we put in maximum effort into once again achieving an AX title. Team Green is synonymous with Kawasaki and for many is an aspirational team to be a part of – we feel with this exciting rider line-up, Team Green can be represented to the highest level. Personally I can’t wait for the season to start!”

AX promoter Matt Bates said: “The fact that Kawasaki is putting such an incredible level of support behind Arenacross is a true testament to how it values the series. We know Arenacross is one of the best motocross championships around and, to my mind, Kawasaki’s endorsement underlines that belief.”
