10 August 2015 Team 38 head to the Mojave Mile with the H2R

Ever wondered just how fast the Kawasaki Ninja H2R can go? Team 38 are taking the H2R to the Mojave Mile in California to find out.
The team were planning to attend the famous Bonneville Speed Week event, but unfortunately due to the bad condition of the salt flat, the event was cancelled. However, the 12,500ft tarmac runway of Mojave was an apt alternative.

Team 38 – made up of staff from Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd  and named after a building at the KHI plant in Akashi, building 38 - may be ‘unofficial’, but they have the blessing of KHI to take their holiday at the same time and use the supercharged Ninja for the event.

In control of the 300+bhp machine is test rider, and attendee of the launch of the Ninja H2 and H2R in Qatar, Shigeru Yamashita.

We’ll be keeping up to date with how they get on over the next few days.
