15 August 2012 Swansea M&P Showroom opening success

Officially opening their new purpose-built showroom on the second weekend of August, Swansea based Kawasaki dealer M&P enjoyed two days of good weather and enthusiastic crowds.
Keen to see the new retail complex, the huge crowd on Saturday and equally large attendance on Sunday were delighted to meet Kawasaki British Superbike riders Chris Walker, Stuart Easton and World Superbike star Tom Sykes.

Born from the ashes of a devastating fire in their previous premises, the new complex was erected in double quick time and, in no small part due the efforts of the entire M&P staff, according to Kawasaki Motors UK Business Manager for the area, Dean Clewley.

“It’s hard enough in the current economic climate as it is, but to continue to trade after a fire gutted the old premises and to create this amazing showroom in such a short time is testament to the whole team. You can see why they have so many loyal customers and just why so many people who have never visited before turned up this weekend to experience the M&P hospitality and join in the fun”.

With escorted ride outs and test rides across both days, the M&P team ensured that not only did the raffle and live bands go down well, but also all those that wanted to try a bike could do so as M&P Dealer Principle, Nathan Hartnoll, explains.

“This was designed to be a big splash, a way of saying M&P is back bigger and better than ever. The attendance was amazing and, as a result of the test rides and follow up after the event, we think we will have sold up to six new Kawasaki bikes.

Of course, it doesn’t stop there and now that people know we are open for business and can put a name to a face we hope they will pop in for a coffee and a chat whenever they pass by in future.”
