23 October 2018 Lee Jackson to stay with FS-3 Racing Kawasaki for 2019 British Superbike Championship

Lee Jackson will continue to campaign in the 1000cc Superstock category of next year’s British Superbike Championship (BSB) with his FS-3 Racing Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR.

Following a strong season in 2018 where Jackson scored race podiums and rounded out the season in 6th place overall, the 23 year old from Lincoln is thrilled to be remaining with a team and machinery that has given him a great shot at 1000cc Superstock racing supremacy.
“It’s great to have got my deal sorted for next year so soon after the last round as it means I can focus on getting myself best prepared for the 2019 season already,” Jackson commented.

“I can’t thank the team enough for their work this year and I’m looking forward to continue to work hard next year and fight for the championship. Staying in the same team for 2019 is good for consistency and means we can hit the ground running in pre-season testing also!”

“I’d just like to thank both Nigel and Darren at FS-3 Racing Kawasaki, Kawasaki UK, all the team’s sponsors and my personal sponsors for making 2019 happen!” Jackson exclaimed.

Team Principle of FS-3 Racing Kawasaki, Nigel Snook is confident that the re signing will lead to success, saying, ‘Lee and his FS-3 Racing Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR have been consistent front runners in this year’s Pirelli Superstock 1000 championship, including taking a race win at the Cadwell Park round. With an engine upgrade from Kawasaki for next year, in conjunction with the team’s close technical relationships with K-Tech suspension and the top Kawasaki tuners at MSS Performance, we’re confident that Lee will have the equipment to be a contender for top honours in next year’s championship.’’

Kawasaki Motors UK Senior Racing Coordinator, Ross Burridge is pleased to have a promising rider in the Kawasaki stable, saying, "Lee has shown great form on our bike during this season, gelling with the switch to Kawasaki more and more as the year went on. I believe that consistency is key in racing and with a similar, yet improved package waiting for Lee in 2019, there is no reason why he and the team can't be challenging for the title. I am excited to see what lies in wait for next season!"
