23 April 2012 Kellett takes KX85 big wheel honours at Milton Park

Competing in his first major event of the year for the Kawasaki Motors UK supported Twisted 7 team, 14 year old Todd Kellett took top honours in the big wheel class topping the podium at Milton Park in Northants.
The Somerset rider has quickly acclimatised to the official Kawasaki Team Green racing outfit and achieved a commendable three race wins the KX85 II over a two day weekend of hard fought competition as part of the first round of the British youth nationals.

Fresh from the removal of a leg cast and the all clear from his doctor, Kellett did not let his recent injury hinder his progress and rode like a seasoned professional according to Racing Co-ordinator for Kawasaki Motors UK, Ross Burridge.

“Todd was talent spotted by Twisted 7 supremo, Jeff Perrett and his choice of rider has been thoroughly vindicated. Todd heads the BYMX Championship in his class and is now looking to repeat his podium presence at the Red Bull Elite Cup which takes place at Landrake in late April”.

Success at Milton Park was not confined to the Twisted 7 team however. Liam Garland also made the top step of the podium, this time aboard a KX250F winning four out of five races to take overall honours and the warm congratulations of his team.
