Riding for the newly formed RC Express Racing team based in Bristol, 23 year old Harrison has only been racing since 2008 yet has already amassed some creditable race statistics.
Achieving the fastest newcomer award at this year’s Southern 100 on the Isle of Man’s Billown course, the feat was further underlined by the fact that he had only acquired the Ninja ZX-10R race bike he used just a few days prior to the event.
Added to this Isle of Man success, Harrison was runner up at the annual Cock o the North event on the ultra-tight and demanding Scarborough circuit, as well as an impressive top ten finish at the Ulster GP - this whilst also becoming the only ever newcomer to achieve a 130mph average lap. For the coming season, the team will receive direct support from Kawasaki Motors UK, and are aiming for top honours at the Isle of Man TT, North West 200 and Ulster GP.
Father and Son, Roy and Ben Constable - Team Owners of RC Express Racing commented:
"After only deciding to start a race team earlier this year, getting Dean on board and receiving this valuable support from Kawasaki Motors UK is far beyond where we imagined we would be. If Dean continues to improve at the rate of knots he has so far we’ll be absolutely delighted" For Kawasaki Motors UK, Ross Burridge added:
"We have been keenly watching Dean's progress this year and are understandably impressed. We spoke to Roy and Ben at Team RC Express Racing and agreed on a mutually beneficial support package. Naturally it is our desire to see this enthusiastic new team flourish and achieve even better results moving forward. Roll on 2013 and the Isle of Man TT festival!”See more news plus add your own comments, on the
