9 March 2016 Kawasaki crowned ‘Best Manufacturer Experience’ at Motorcycle Live

Kawasaki Motors UK received the award for the ‘Best Manufacturer Experience’ for the Lee Bowers Stunt Display feature at the 2015 Motorcycle Live show.
Positioned directly next to the main Kawasaki stand, Lee ‘Pacman’ Bowers wowed the thousands of motorcycle fans who entered the show with his gravity defying tricks with twice-daily performances – and three during the weekends – in his dedicated arena. He was joined by special guests, stunt woman Katy Bullock and professional BMX Flatland ride and Guinness World Record Holder, Lee Musselwhite throughout the course of the week.

The award was presented to Kawasaki Motors UK, who have decided that it is in fact Lee himself who deserves to take home the award and add it to his collection.

Marketing and Brand Development Manager, Mark Spiller, said: “It was fantastic to see the reactions to Lee’s tricks. He’s unbelievably talented and it’s a pleasure to have him as part of Team Green. We thought it was only right that he had the physical award as it was his hard work that helped us win it. He’ll be joining us at our World of Kawasaki event too on Saturday 18th June at Silverstone, as well as representing Kawasaki at a number of events throughout the year. If you haven’t seen him already, I’d definitely recommend it!”

When asked about receiving his latest award, Lee said: “It was great fun performing at Motorcycle Live – there was always a great crowd who got behind us and made us up our game to do our best and biggest tricks. I was really pleased when it was announced that we’d been crowned the ‘Best Manufacturer Experience’ at the show – as it’s the visitors that vote for it – and every time I see the award, it will remind me of what a great event it was!”
