20 November 2013 Kawasaki celebrates KX 40 years at Motorcycle Live

With four decades of heritage to reflect on, Kawasaki will celebrate forty years of the fabulous KX off-road range at Motorcycle Live with a dedicated display.
Located in the race awning adjacent to the main Kawasaki stand in Hall 3, the feature will include both current and past machines as well as a wide selection of the bikes being raced by today’s stars comments Ross Burridge, Racing Coordinator for Kawasaki Motors UK.

“Every single machine from the new 2014 MX range will be on display including the KX450F, KX250F and impressive KLX450R enduro plus the road registered KLX125 and KLX250.

In addition we have five classic Kawasaki race bikes starting with machines like a 1983 KX125 eligible for twin-shock racing and a rare chance to see some factory special SR machines.

In terms of current riders, you will see the KX450F race bikes of World MX1 star, Tommy Searle and current AMCA Champion, Lee Dunham, the Oakleaf Kawasaki of Shane Carless and, for MX2 fans, the KX250F of Bryan Mackenzie. The final part of this area will be the brand new KX85 machine being campaigned Team Green rider, Dylan Woodcock. “

For those that want to try off-road riding, Mick Extance and his team will be in attendance throughout the show taking bookings for their Kawasaki supported off-road experience catering for all types of riders from novice to expert.

“With so many road riders looking for other ways to take to two wheels, we thought that Motorcycle Live would be a great venue to show just how much dirt heritage we have plus delivering a chance to get involved in trail riding and motocross", concluded Burridge.
