12 October 2012 Kawasaki Z40 Limited Edition watch launched at Intermot

The recently unveiled Z40 limited edition watch has been officially launched at the Intermot show in Germany.
Celebrating forty years of the Kawasaki Z range – and highlighting the European introduction of the 903cc Kawasaki Z1 Super Four at the IFMA show in Germany in 1972 - the watch has been limited to just 903 pieces and looks set to be highly sought after by Kawasaki fans and watch collectors alike.

Available only by special order via European Kawasaki dealers, each watch is individually numbered and comes in a special branded presentation display box along with a certificate of authenticity and illustrated owner’s manual.

In a special ceremony held on the Z40 celebration stand at Intermot created by Kawasaki Motors Europe (KME) and Kawasaki Motors Germany (KMDE), one of the first three watches created was presented to Mr Yasushi Kawakami, Managing Director of KME, by World Superbike star, Tom Sykes.

With the unveiling of the new 2013 Z800 at Intermot, the watch presentation and stunning new street-fighter style naked middleweight represent a fitting start to the next forty years of the formidable Kawasaki Z family.
