3 June 2016 Kawasaki Motors UK to attend the Festival of Speed

From Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 June Kawasaki Motors UK will be exhibiting at the world famous Goodwood Festival of Speed – the largest motoring garden party in the world.
The theme for this year’s Festival of Speed is ‘Full Throttle – The Endless Pursuit of Power’ – it’s a fitting theme for Kawasaki’s display of 2016 machinery which will showcase their flagship machines, the Ninja H2 and H2R as well as ‘special’ machines including Chris Walker’s ZX-7RR, James Hillier’s Isle of Man TT ZX-10R Superbike and Mick Godfrey’s Z1R Endurance racers.

There will be special guest appearances from motorcycle racers* over the course of the weekend and exclusive interviews with them live on stage.

First attending the world-renowned show in 2012, Kawasaki UK plan to make their presence their best ever – bikes being displayed on the stand include the 2016 Ninja ZX-10R, Versys 650 and 1000, Ninja ZX-6R 636 and Z1000.

Gill Jockel, Marketing Section Head at Kawasaki Motors UK, said: “We’re really looking forward to the show this year. It will be hot on the heels of our annual K-World: Live event at Silverstone (18 June) so it’s a busy period for us but we simply had to be involved in the show.

“We have a wide selection of bikes planned for our stand – everything from our brand-new commuter machine, the J125 scooter to the thrill-seeking ZZR1400. It’s a great chance to chat to Kawasaki UK staff about starting your two-wheeled journey, ask any questions you may have about the range or just admire the machines up close.”
