Medibike specialises in providing medical and logistical support for sporting, community and charitable events through the United Kingdom.
 
The bike provided is a blue-light specification 1400GTR – normally a police demonstrator machine for Kawasaki Motors UK the bike is fitted with blue lights at the front, rear and on the sides and comes complete with a hi-vis livery and siren. Medibike will be adding their own livery to the bike to make it fully customised for the event.
 
The Kawasaki 1400GTR has unique to class variable hydraulic valve timing, linked brakes and advanced traction control. It’s powered by a 1352cc in-line four engine, features fuel economy assistance mode, electronically adjustable windscreen and heated grips. 
 
As well as the bike provided by Kawasaki Motors UK, Medibike will be running two of their own 1400GTR’s as part of the four-bike fleet to support the challenge.
