There were Kawasaki dominated podiums throughout the course of the weekend in various classes – and both Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne and James Ellison concreted their places in the Showdown.
It was a triple-header for the British Superbike class with race
one on Saturday – Shakey took first place on his PBM Kawasaki, James Ellison battled through the pain and was back on the bike after having to miss Cadwell Park due to a broken wrist sustained at Thruxton to take second and Danny Buchan made it an all ‘Green’ podium on his Be Wiser Kawasaki ZX-10R.

for on Sunday, track-based Team Green continued with their success. Danny Buchan raced to second place, Luke Mossey
4th, James Ellison 5
th and James Westmoreland finished in 10
th in race two. Shakey scored his second podium of the weekend in race three, Danny Buchan finished in
4th, Ellison repeated his success of race two with a 5
th place and Howie Mainwaring-Smart rounded out the top 10.
As a result of this weekend, PBM’s Shane Byrne and JG Speedfit’s James Ellison have secured their places in the Showdown and are ‘Title Fighters’.
Similar success was seen in the Superstock 600 class with Kawasaki’s seizing all the podium places. Tarran Mackenzie took the top step on his Stauff Connect Academy ZX-6R, Champion-ship leader Mason Law finished second and 18-year-old Jordan Weaving completed the top three. Mason ‘Outlaw’ Law maintains his lead in the Superstock 600 Championship.
Morello Racing Kawasaki racer, Joshua Elliott scored 2
nd place in the Superstock 1000 race and Irish lad, Glen Irwin bagged a 4
th place in the Supersport race, Ben Wilson 5
th and Luke Hedger 6
th.
