Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne, is currently in second place in the Championship after finishing fourth and fifth in race one and two respectively.  Quattro Plant Tec-care Kawasaki rider, Luke Mossey, added a second podium BSB finish to his season as he took to the third step on the podium in race two.

Northern Irish lad, Glenn Irwin is currently fourth in the Supersport Championship on 263 points after finishing fifth in race one and third in race two. His Gearlink Kawasaki team-mate, Ben Wilson raced to finish seventh and sixth place.

Ross Burridge, Senior Racing and Marketing Co-ordinator, said: “Alongside Jonathan Rea securing the World Superbike Championship this weekend, it’s been a great result for track-based Team Green in the British Superbike Championship.

“The Showdown is always a tense time for all those riders and teams involved – to have two riders in the running is brilliant and we wish them all the best for the next - and penultimate - round at Silverstone. It’s great news to have James Ellison staying with the JG Speedfit team for next year too.”
