19 November 2016 JG Speedfit Kawasaki 2017 British Superbike livery unveiled at Motorcycle Live

This morning, JG Speedfit Kawasaki, the Official Kawasaki British Superbike team, has unveiled their brand new livery for the 2017 season at Motorcycle Live – the first chance to see the new scheme on the Ninja ZX-10R.
The Bournemouth Kawasaki team will be gunning for glory with runner-up in the 2016 series on the Ninja ZX-10R, Haslam will be partnered by 24-year-old Luke Mossey who achieved a strong position in the 2016 Showdown and who is aiming to improve on his sixth place finish in the Championship last year.

Competing in the JG Speedfit Kawasaki colours in all classes at the Northwest 200 and Isle of Man TT will be roads specialist, James Hillier.

Excited about the partnership, Senior Racing Co-ordinator for Kawasaki Motors UK, Ross Burridge, said: “We’ve had a relationship with JG Speedfit for a number of years and enjoy working with them, so to continue this for the 2017 season is great news. The new livery looks amazing and I can’t wait to see it line up on the grid at round one in 2017.”

Team Principal, Pete Extance, said: “We can’t wait for the season to begin – we’ve come a long way since we started racing seven years ago. We have a fantastic rider line-up with Leon, Luke and James, amazing sponsors and great support from Kawasaki Motors UK – I don’t think we’ll ever get a better chance of winning the BSB Championship.

“Of course, the BSB title is our goal as well as a Superbike and Senior win at the TT. We’ve got a testing schedule planned with two tests planned for late January and early February. I, for one, can’t wait.”

The race bike will be on show at Motorcycle Live until the end of the show (19-27 November) on the Kawasaki Motors UK stand – Hall 2 Stand 2B15.
