14 November 2012 Five special editions for Motorcycle Live

Adding to the four brand new models set to make their UK debut at Motorcycle Live, Kawasaki has announced its intention to add a further five special editions to the display at the biggest motorcycle show in the UK.
With Supersport, Sport, Classic and Streetfighter styled machines in the mix, there will be a huge array of new machinery for show goers to see over the nine days of the event which opens to the public at Birmingham’s NEC on 24 November.

No less than two ZZR1400 variants will be shown, one, the ZZR1400 Special Edition sporting a radical black and green paint scheme and the other a Performance Edition with the benefit of twin Akrapovic exhaust silencers and a raised “flip up” windscreen offering more protection from the elements for riders of the world’s fastest accelerating production motorcycle.

In the Supersport class, the much anticipated Ninja ZX-6R 636 will be partnered in Kawasaki dealer showrooms next year by a Performance Edition fitted with race style green wheel rim tapes, a smoked “bubble” windscreen, LeoVince slip on silencer, a gel tank protector pad and colour coded pillion seat cover.

Already creating quite a stir on the internet, the Z1000 Special Edition will be seen in the flesh at Motorcycle Live and features such as the polished and accented wheels, unique white, black and orange paint scheme plus a protective gel tank pad and name plate on the handlebar bridge will set this out as a destination machine for many show goers.

And for the many enthusiasts who like their motorcycling with a classic twist, the 2013 air-cooled, twin-cylinder machine will also be available as a W800 Special Edition complete with a two-tone red and black paint scheme and many items such as wheels and engine parts treated to a mean and moody satin black finish.

“It’s going to be an amazing display of new machinery on the Kawasaki stand again this year”, commented Mark Spiller, Marketing & Brand Development Manager for Kawasaki Motors UK.

“As ever we will display as much of the new 2013 range as possible, and now show goers have the incentive of yet more new Kawasaki models to view and experience for the first time at Motorcycle Live”.
