Chiltern Young Riders
Located near Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire, Chiltern Young Riders is the only motocross school in the country focusing on children as young as four. We believe as children can excel at skiing and swimming from an early age so can they master throttles, gears and clutches to enjoy motorcycle riding too. Today’s big stars all started young.
Children need and respond to excitement, responsibility and physical exercise. Motocross can provide all these elements, and those who experience karts, quads or motorcycles often demonstrate better understanding of traffic speeds and road dangers when out and about on foot or as cyclists.REQUIREMENTS:
No previous experience, suitable for ages 4-adults.
DragonMoto Tours is operated by Jan & Geraint who organise and run motorcycle tours in the UK, Ireland and Europe together with day ride outs in the UK.
Hotel accommodation, Eurotunnel and StenaLine bookings are all taken care of (where applicable) and comprehensive itineraries and daily route sheets are provided. Routes are planned to not only give you an opportunity to ride roads that were meant to be ridden, but also factor in rest stops, good locations for lunch and interesting places to visit.
For UK based tours, some of the short breaks in northern Europe, and their UK day ride outs, DragonMoto Tours operate a "corner marking or second man drop off" system where Geraint leads and Jan is at the "tail end" which allows you to ride the roads without maps, if you wish. Alternatively you can take the routes we have compiled and meet us along the road or at the final destination to enjoy the social side of motorcycling. When we plan our tours and ride outs, we pride ourselves on "The Mix", this is the variety in the type of roads we use, the places we visit and the scenery we experience.REQUIREMENTS:
Full motorcycle licence and your own motorcycle required.
