The Kawasaki UK demo fleet, which will be available throughout the day, will include the #RefinedRaw
Z900 and
Z650 plus the
ZX-10RR, best-selling
Z1000SX,
ZZR1400 and the now-legendary
Ninja H2.
Getting a Kawasaki demo ride is as simple as going to the booking office at garages 35/36, where MCIA staff will be handling sign on and bike allocation during the day.
If off-road riding is more your thing, Lee Dunham will be bringing the
Kawasaki Off-Road Experience to Rockingham’s five-mile off-road circuit.
Alongside demo rides,
Kawasaki Rider Training Services (KRTS) will also be on hand to talk about getting a motorcycle license and why learning to ride with Kawasaki is such a safe and fun way to begin life on two wheels. For more information on KRTS and to find your nearest training centre, go to
www.kawasaki-krts.co.uk.
After going for a test ride be sure to head over to the stunt area where crowd favourite Lee Bowers will also be demonstrating his frankly sickening talent on a bike with shows at 12 and 2pm.
The BikeSafe show is supported by the Motorcycle Industry Association and run in partnership with Northamptonshire Highways and Northamptonshire Police, in an effort to change rider attitudes and behaviour, and reduce the number of motorcyclists killed or injured on UK roads.
Alongside plenty of trade stands and exhibitors, for £35 attendees can go for a police assessed ride (which includes feedback and advice) and have a 15 minute track experience. Other activities include motorcycle safety sessions, skid training and the chance to try your hand at Moto Gymkhana.
