1 November 2018 Team Green Kawasaki Confirm Greg Aranda for 2019 Arenacross Squad

Greg Aranda has signed up with Kawasaki’s factory backed Arenacross racing effort to compete in the Pro class aboard a KX450 for the upcoming six round series.

2019 will be the first season of Arenacross racing for the Frenchman, who has a burning desire to challenge for the championship title during his first attempt.

Spanning across three events, the Arenacross series consists of two rounds at each meeting and will take place from January to February next year at Belfast, Birmingham and Sheffield respectively.

The traditionally tight and tricky Arenacross circuits are well suited to the powerful new engine featured on the all-new 2019 KX450, which Aranda plans to send over the line in first place every time, saying, “I’m really looking forward to compete in the UK Arencross, I heard that there is lots of strong challenge from other riders and this is how I like to race.”

“I’m also super happy to have Kawasaki UK and Team Green behind me for this new adventure. I'm delighted to be able to count on the best bike out there! I’m really excited to be there soon,” said the twenty-nine year old.

Senior Racing Coordinator, Ross Burridge is delighted to have Aranda in the green corner, saying, "It has been great to run Team Green Kawasaki in the excellent Arenacross series over the past two seasons and with Greg choosing to be part of our team for 2019, this makes it even more exciting to get going! I believe that with Greg's experience and the awesome KX450 we should have a partnership capable of challenging for the title. It's such a tough series with really close racing, so to have a seasoned Supercross rider on board is fantastic."
