Wheels & Tyres

Reducing rider fatigue and changing direction easily, the KX250 has redesigned, lightweight cast aluminium hubs and polished rims front and back as well as lighter spokes.
Engine

The KX250 has a motor built to blast from start gate to finish straight. New independent KIPS mechanisms smooth the ballistic mid-range, while clever coolant passages keep the motor at the max.
Front Suspension

Separate oil and air chambers for the new 48mm Kayaba front forks ensure peak performance even in those long motos, while the new low friction fork seals deliver a really smooth action.
Rear Suspension

The swinging arm may look familiar, but new spar material enhances stability and handling. Look underneath and you'll also see the redesigned Uni-Trak linkage sporting new ratios.
Frame & Bodywork

Steering sharpened for quicker cornering, frame narrowed in the right places and ground clearance increased, the new KX250 chassis is a great place to be when you want to win a race.
Front Brake

The redesigned front brake lever is mated to a 250mm rotor and dual piston brake caliper carrying new pads with revised material for increased feedback and all round performance.
