NEW Special Edition models due in May

Responding to overwhelming demand for not just motorcycles, but also genuine accessories, Kawasaki is introducing a number of Special Edition machines.

Focussing on enhancing the already formidable package represented by each of the popular motorcycles in a new five model line up being launched across the UK in May, there are three Performance Editions, a Sports Edition and even a Light Tourer edition.

Adding a genuine accessory Akrapoviç silencer to the Ninja ZX-10R Performance Edition is just the first step in the transformation of this awesome machine. The other items included in the package are a double bubble screen, colour coded seat cowl, mini front indicators plus tank and knee pads.

The smaller Ninja is also included in the new range and comes with its own upgrades as well as an equally attractive recommended retail price. Improving its pole position looks and attitude further still, the Ninja ZX-6R Performance Edition also boasts an Akrapoviç silencer, bubble screen, rear seat cover plus tank and knee pads. Additionally, both Ninja machines also qualify for the current Go Green Zero 0% Typical APR finance scheme which has recently been extended.

Sports touring riders are amply catered for with a selection of clever accessory modifications to the mighty ZZR1400 Performance Edition including torque boosting twin Akrapoviç mufflers which save weight as well as adding a few more horsepower to the ZZR’s considerable stable. Added to these new lightweight silencers, the ZZR1400 will also be supplied with a double bubble screen and colour matched genuine accessory seat cowl.

For street sports fans, the customisers favourite Z750 is also being launched in Z750 Urban Sports Edition guise. Again a fashionable and high quality Akrapoviç silencer is fitted as well as a colour matched belly pan, wheel rim stripes and a genuine accessory seat cowl.

Rounding out the Special Edition range is a Classic Light Tour Edition of the highly rated VN900 Cruiser. Adding leather pannier bags plus pannier brackets to the VN900 Classic, the machine additionally benefits from the addition of a stylish, weather beating windscreen and fork leg wind deflectors.

Available from May onwards at franchised UK Kawasaki road bike dealers, the new Special Edition models are a further boost to a range that is already in demand according to Sales and Marketing Manager for Kawasaki Motors UK Michael Johnstone.
